    Cataracts ???

Hmm, been having this eye irritation this past 2 week. Seen a doc but doc said eye infection. Then just last week it got worse as my right eye vision became blurred. Halo rings start to appear when i look at light sources... Read a magaine that this is a symptom of cataract. Will be seeing doc on mon for referral to a specialist.. Hopefully its not cataracts.. or else will have to go for operation or i might face blindness....

    Thanks...

Hmm, been very troubled by some stuff lately, but i guess i've finally decided on the path that i'll undertake. It will be an enduring one but nonetheless i'll give it my very best and hopefully see the light at the end.

Must really thank a few friends for their continuous support, encouragement and advice. For without them, things might had been worse. So here's a big thanks to PJ, Wispie and Xiuyan for their enduring support. Also not forgetting my bro Janus for all his help.

So now, back to studies and oh my god do i have lots to do. Term paper and project deadlines coming up liao... Plus this stupid 1500 word assignemnt for my history SS module which i practically have no idea how to start. Wish me luck guys..

    Hold On

This is one of my favourite songs by Sarah McLachlan. The background music might take sometime to load though. So pls be patient .

    Hold on
    Hold on to yourself
For this is gonna hurt like hell
    Hold on
    Hold on to yourself
You know that only time will tell
What is it in me that refuses to believe
This isn't easier than the real thing
    My love
You know that you're my best friend
You know I'd do anything for you
    My love
    Let nothing come between us
My love for you is strong and true

Am I in heaven here or am i...
At the crossroads I am standing
    So now you're sleeping peaceful
    I lie awake and pray
That you'll be strong tomorrow and we'll
See another day and we will praise it
And love the light that brings a smile
    Across your face

Oh God if you're out there won't you hear me
I know that we've never talked before
Oh God the man I love is leaving
Won't you take him when he comes to your door

Am I in heaven here or am I in hell
At the crossroads I am standing
    So now you're sleeping peaceful
    I lie awake and pray
That you'll be strong tomorrow and we'll
See another day and we will praise it
And love the light that brings a smile
    Across your face...

    Hold on
    Hold on to yourself
For this is gonna hurt like hell

    I Hope You Dance

I hope you never lose your sense of wonder
You get your fill to eat
    But always keep that hunger
May you never take one single breath for granted
God forbid love ever leave you empty handed
I hope you still feel small
When you stand by the ocean
Whenever one door closes, I hope one more opens
Promise me you'll give faith a fighting chance

And when you get the choice to sit it out or dance
    I hope you dance
    I hope you dance

I hope you never fear those mountains in the distance
Never settle for the path of least resistance
    Living might mean taking chances
    But they're worth taking
    Lovin' might be a mistake
    But it's worth making
Don't let some hell bent heart
    Leave you bitter
When you come close to selling out
    Reconsider
    Give the heavens above
More than just a passing glance

And when you get the choice to sit it out or dance
    I hope you dance
(Time is a real and constant motion always)
    I hope you dance
    (Rolling us along)
    I hope you dance
    (Tell me who)
    I hope you dance
(Wants to look back on their youth and wonder)
    (Where those years have gone)

I hope you still feel small
When you stand by the ocean
Whenever one door closes, I hope one more opens
Promise me you'll give faith a fighting chance

And when you get the choice to sit it out or dance
    Dance
    I hope you dance
    I hope you dance
(Time is a real and constant motion always)
    I hope you dance
    (Rolling us along)
    I hope you dance
    (Tell me who)
(Wants to look back on their youth and wonder)
    I hope you dance
    (Where those years have gone)

    (Tell me who)
    I hope you dance
(Wants to look back on their youth and wonder)
    (Where those years have gone)

    Senseless

My mind swirling, my heart heavy, my soul weary. Should i give up or should i hold on. The future is unknown. Undoubtly, a decision has to be made. Things are bogging me down to such an extend that its affecting my studies. Restlessness has been all over me. I feel like time is passing by ever slowly and as it grows, so does the burden. Yet, a faint light of hope still lingers within me. The hope that one day, everything will be the way that i wished for. But, will that day come? Or will i crumble beneath the very burden i held on so dearly. So dearly that even i might have been blinded from the naked truth...

    Annoying Worm

To KrUsH KiLL n DeStroY a FuNNy ViRuS...

Hey folks, guess some of u are having problems with the "funny" virus or W32.Annoying.Worm. So here's a little something i've gotten from BX's blog to help.

    1. Disabling System Restore (Windows Me/XP)
If you are running Windows Me or Windows XP, we recommend that you temporarily turn off System Restore. Windows Me/XP uses this feature, which is enabled by default, to restore the files on your computer in case they become damaged. If a virus, worm, or Trojan infects a computer, System Restore may back up the virus, worm, or Trojan on the computer.

    2. Updating the virus definitions
Symantec Security Response fully tests all the virus definitions for quality assurance before they are posted to our servers. There are two ways to obtain the most recent virus definitions:

    3. Restarting the computer in Safe mode or ending the malicious process
    Windows 95/98/Me
Shut down the computer and turn off the power. Wait for at least 30 seconds, and then restart the computer in Safe mode. For instructions, read the document, "How to start the computer in Safe Mode."

    Windows NT/2000/XP
    To end the malicious process:
    1. Press Ctrl+Alt+Delete once.
    2. Click Task Manager.
    3. Click the Processes tab.
    4. Double-click the Image Name column header to alphabetically sort the processes.
    5. Scroll through the list and look for MsgSprd.
    6. If you find the file, click it, and then click End Process.
    7. Exit the Task Manager.

    4. Scanning for and deleting the infected files
    1. Start your Symantec antivirus program and make sure that it is configured to scan all the files.

    * For Norton AntiVirus consumer products: Read the document, "How to configure Norton AntiVirus to scan all files."

    * For Symantec AntiVirus Enterprise products: Read the document, "How to verify that a Symantec Corporate antivirus product is set to scan all files."

    2. Run a full system scan.

    3. If any files are detected as infected with W32.Annoying.Worm, click Delete.

    5. Reversing the changes made to the registry
WARNING: Symantec strongly recommends that you back up the registry before making any changes to it. Incorrect changes to the registry can result in permanent data loss or corrupted files. Modify the specified keys only. Read the document, "How to make a backup of the Windows registry," for instructions.

    1. Click Start, and then click Run. (The Run dialog box appears.)

    2. Type regedit

Then click OK. (The Registry Editor opens.)

    3. Navigate to the key:

    HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Run

    4. In the right pane, delete the value:"MSN Messenger"="%download location%\PIC1324.exe"

    5. Exit the Registry Editor.

    6. Restart the computer back into Normal mode. For instructions, read the section on returning to Normal mode in the document, "How to start the computer in Safe Mode."

    Havoc Weekend

Yeah, i got into the NUSSU PRU Bash Committee. So so u guys out there must give me ur utmost support k. Must buy tickets from me and must go. I promise u it'll be a hell of a bash.

Anywayz, had a very chaotic but fun weekend. Still feeling the after effects of all the alcohol and stuff. So here's the scoop on what had happened..

    Sat...
Had a physics test which i thought i did quite well haha (think only lah). Later that evening , went for the Raffle's Hall Concert called "Poppy", though i find the name rather amusing and kinda suggestive. But overall i thought that the story is quite good and the music was quite well done though some of the cast really needed to brush up on their singing skills haha (no offence here). After the show, met up with the NY clique and had supper at the "Kopitiam" near the Art Museum where we booked a hotel room for our drinking session (one bottle of Vodka and one bottle of Barcardi kindly sponsered by Huijun). Drank quite a lot and for the first time really puked my lungs out haha. Well, at least now i know what's my max capacity.

    Sun...
After the drinking session, we headed to the Turf club for an educational tour (dunno why but my gang likes to explore wierd stuff haha). Coz leslie's parents are members , so we got free entrance to the Owner's Lounge (some sort of VIP room). It's quite an interesting experience learning how to punt and seeing the race haha and i must say it really can be quite addictive (not to mention very expensive). After that went home and studied for my maths test which is on mon but can't absorbed much due to the hangover and lack of sleep haha. So wish me luck guys. Posted by Hello

    i-book vs Toshiba Protege

Hmm, thought of getting a laptop for quite sometime liao. My initial choice was Toshiba's Protege coz it's quite compact, looks good and has 4 USB slots haha. But then my friend came along and showed me what i-book can do and i was really quite impressed haha. But the thing bout converting to i-book is that i have to relearn how to use a computer haha. So i'm now in a dilenma. What should i do??

    DOME Cafe @ NUS

Another boring day filled with lectures and tutorial. Kinda find my life in NUS not fulfiling enough. Dunno also hahaha. Anyway, went over to UCC (University Cultural Centre) to take a stroll down the South East Asia Museum there to get some inspiration for my history assignment due in 3 days time haha. Got the main points out liao, just need to blow it up to 1500 words which i now very lazy to do haha.

Yah, speaking bout UCC, been to the Dome cafe there today and tried their Ice Mocha Gelato and carrot cake. Its heavenly man haha, plus NUS students get 15% discount yeah~!! The environment there is very cosy and peaceful, free from all the student traffic, except for the renovation going on upstairs which irks me at times haha. But apart for that, its really a nice place to hang out and even for studying. Plus there's not many people who hang around in UCC making it a very comfortable place to relax. So next time you got a gathering, might wanna check it out.

Recently recieved a photo taken during union camp from Ron which is very cute haha. Seeing the photo really brings back memories. The care free days of fun and laughter. Kinda miss the entire Sunshine gang. Posted by Hello
