Here in the northen hemisphere, these are the longest nights. These nights surrounding the winter solstice. We gather near to friends, family and loved ones in these times, to find warmth and comfort. But the solstice and the new calendar year, both serve to remind us that our lonely little planet is once again turning important. Days will start growing longer again. A reminder that even in our darkest times, there is always hope for the future.

The Holiday
Finished watching "The Holiday" a few days ago. Really felt something there. Somehow, i think i can relate to the characters in the show. It's been 2 years already. Oh gosh, do i really have to wait for 3 years, like in the show, before realising what i should have done in the first place? Or should i still hold on to the very little hope that i have, praying that things will work out well in the end. It's really an irritating feeling. Somehow i wished i could just make a decision to end it and move on. Just throw everything away, move to some remote place where no one knows you and spend the quiet christmas by yourself sipping hot chocolate by a warm fire place with a good book and a pet dog (or in my case a cat). Yet some part of me kept me back, tugging me to stay on and tempting me with hope.
Ok, my internet connection is starting to get on my nerves, and i'll be on my way to bed. Nitez

Final Fantasy Time
Ok, so i hoped onto the Playstation 2 bandwagon a bit later than most. Missed out on lots of games including Final Fantasy X, X-2 and XII. Man, wish i had bought my PS2 earlier. But nonetheless, i'm now currently catching up on all the lost fun. Going full steam ahead with the PS2 Final Fantasy games. This should at least keep me occupied a few months. After that, i have .Hack/Infection and Kingdom Hearts waiting for me... Weeee~!!!!

New York New York
Was having lunch at a new restaurant along Citylink called New York New York 2 weeks ago. The food is excellent. The portions are huge and the price is reasonable. Had a Rotisserie Spring Chicken. At first glance, the picture in the menu made the chicken looked small. When the chicken came, it was huge. WOW. The moment i start cutting the chicken, juice start to flow out flooding my plate. I had to save my fries and salad from the flooding juices. Oh my GOSH, its so amazing. The chicken was tender and aromatic. I must go back and try it again.
